The kit contains
all of the surface mount
components shown below. The components are contained in
strips of sealed carrier tape, which are clearly labeled
with descriptions in human readable format.
This kit also comes with a set
of preprinted labels which you can use to label SMT component
storage units which you may already have or to label the
compartments in the surface mount component storage unit,
shown below.
The surface mount component storage
unit, with 144 individually lidded compartments, is sold
separately. You should be able to store a minimum of
300 loose 0805 size parts in each compartment without difficulty.
The kit contains 153 different components so you may wish
to order 2 storage units which will house all the components
in this kit and still leave you with many empty compartments
to store all your other surface mount components for prototyping.
