Plated Hole Repair Kit includes all the tools and materials you'll need to repair damaged plated through holes in circuit boards. This repair kit includes a variety of eyelet sizes, carbide ball mills for drilling, and setting tools to form the eyelets conforming to IPC guidelines. The eyelets are made of pure copper electroplated with solder. The eyelet tooling is hardened steel. See below for a list of items included with the Plated Hole Repair Kit. Eyelet Selection Criteria

ID - Inside Diameter
Eyelet inside diameter should be .003"-.020" greater than the component lead diameter.

OD - Outside Diameter
The clearance hole in the circuit board should be .001" to .005" greater than the outside diameter.

LUF - Length Under Flange
The length of the flange should be .02" - 035" greater than the thickness of the circuit board.

FD - Flange Diameter
The flange diameter should be small enough to prevent interference with adjacent pads or circuits.
