Introduction to Fiber Optics and Optical Networks Curriculum

The intent is to provide the learner with a sound understanding of the fundamentals of fiber optics, optical networks, including system architecture, performance, components and technology.

Introduction to Fiber Optics and Optical Networks starts with the growing demand for bandwidth, network architecture, and how the network has evolved over time. It then moves onto properties of optical fiber, first generation, second generation and third generation networks and technology.

The course has 5 modules as shown below. Course price includes all 5 modules but the modules can also be purchased individually.
